Hi all, At my workplace most ports are blocked, meaning I cant use most online applications. Untill now I have used tsocks and your-freedom to force applications to use your-freedom socks5 servers. Now, I am using a mac as a client, where I run your-freedom and tsocks, and on my debian server, I would want to run a proxy server, something like dante I think. I did try to set that up, but I have a feeling that it doesnt do what I want it to do. Can anyone set me on the right track of what I would need to use to make my own "your-freedom server"? Like instead of giving tsocks the server adress of localhost:1080, I would go <serverip>:1080 or something like that, because Im fed up with your-freedoms bandwidth cap. I would like to run such a service on my server, just for myself really. Maybe to clarify: I have an addon for mozilla firefox, which lets me give it a socks5 proxy, and if that is given, I can browse any website I want, instead of getting blocked content. I would like to not have to put my your-freedom proxy there. Any Ideas? I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
